Rhythm is everything!
Wurst-Case Scenario is the new, highly energetic, rhythm & comedy tour de force by the Funky Currywurst Brothers, the two clownesque master drummers and multi-instrumentalists Peter Nielsen (DK) & Johannes Bohun (A) who met back in 2001 in London at the audition for the English percussion show STOMP. After years of touring four continents with STOMP, it was time for something new: the Funky Currywurst Brothers. Since then, they have thrilled audiences at hundreds of concerts throughout Europe with their mixture of virtuoso musicality, action-packed slapstick and dynamic audience participation.
Our Vision
We as artists expressing ourselves through music and humor want to inspire the audience, make them laugh and at the same time tap into their own innate creative potential, sensitizing their ability to perceive sound and rhythm, where they would have never suspected there was any. Through our clownesque approach of performing we want to encourage the audience young and old alike to get in touch with their own inner child. On stage we live what has given us energy and joy for so many years now: the universal trinity of rhythm, sound and humor.
